AGENDA

Notice is hereby given that the Department of Health Services, Division of Public Health, will hold an open meeting on the Federal Fiscal Year 2022 Preventive Health and Health Services (PHHS) Block Grant funding.

 

The purpose of this meeting is to solicit public comments on the Federal Fiscal Year 2022 PHHS Block Grant work plan, including funding and Healthy People 2030 plan objectives. The Preventive Health and Health Services Block Grant Advisory Committee is established pursuant to USC Title 42, Chapter 6A, Subchapter XVII, Part A,  § 300w–4. The duties of the Committee are (A) to hold public hearings on the State plan required in this title; and (B) to make recommendations pursuant to the development and implementation of such plan, including recommendations on (i) the conduct of assessments of the public health; (ii) which of the activities authorized should be carried out in the State; (iii) the allocation of payments made to the State under this title; (iv) the coordination of activities carried out under such plan with relevant programs of other entities; and (v) the collection and reporting of data in accordance with this title.

 

Wisconsin expects to receive $3,021,333 in Federal Fiscal Year 2022 PHHS Block Grant funding. PHHS Block Grant funds will continue to be awarded to local aids and state operations. A portion of these funds is federally mandated to specific programs.
