The purpose of this meeting is to conduct the governmental business outlined in the above agenda. The Umbrella Committee is a permanent review committee whose purpose is to advise the Secretary of the Department of Health Services (DHS), and the Secretary’s designees, on operational and policy issues related to newborn screening (NBS).
