The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) will host a public involvement meeting to discuss the evaluation of the I-39/90/94 Wisconsin River Bridge in Columbia County. The open house meeting will be held from 5-7 p.m. on April 18 at Poynette High School, 108 N. Cleveland Street. A brief presentation will be made at 5:15 p.m. As part of the ongoing bridge evaluation, a preliminary range of alternatives has been developed to determine how to best address the needs of the structure, which was constructed in 1961. The project area extends 1.6 miles north of the Wisconsin River and 1.9 miles south. The meeting will provide the public with the opportunity to review project purpose and need and the preliminary alternatives being considered to address structure needs. Information will be on display for participants to review. Team members will be available to answers questions and gather input. If you are unable to attend the meeting or would like more information, please contact WisDOT Project Manager Rob Knorr at (608) 246-5444.
