Motion/Vote: Closed session (Board and EMS office) - to review complaints received by the WI EMS program and provide consultation per Wis. Stat. § 256.08(4). The closed session is authorized under Wis. Stat. § 19.85(1)(f). 5. Transition to open session 6. Review the State of Wisconsin’s 2018-2020 Emergency Medical Services Plan and Assign Priorities to EMS Board Committees Regarding: (Biggart, Chair) a. Regulation & Policy b. Resource Management c. Discuss and develop future new business (Biggart) 13. Adjourn Technical Note: The purpose of this Strategic Planning meeting is to conduct the governmental business outlined in the Agenda. The EMS Board makes recommendations to DHS on general EMS issues either assigned by legislation or raised by members of the public. Medical issues are referred to the Physician Advisory Committee. EMS Board and Physician Advisory Committee are established pursuant to s. 256.04, Wis. Stats. Technical Note: Dedicated time-lines for the items discussed during strategic planning are not being predicted. The EMS Board will work on planning for the time required. The EMS Board will break periodically during the Strategic Planning Process, will break for lunch from 12:00PM-1:00PM on 2/6/18, will adjourn by 5:00PM on 2/6/18, will be back in session at 9:00AM on 2/7/18, and adjourn upon completion of business on 2/7/18.
