Wisconsin Public Meeting Notices & Minutes
Wisconsin has a rich tradition of open and transparent government. My administration is committed to making government more accessible to you, the citizens of Wisconsin. The goal of this website is to be a centralized location for state agencies to post open meeting notices and meeting minutes in an effort to increase state government transparency.
The Wisconsin Rehabilitation Council, working on behalf of Wisconsin residents with disabilities, will review, analyze, and advise the Division of Vocational Rehabilitation (DVR) regarding the performance of its responsibilities in providing quality services to persons with disabilities.
Discuss information DVR obtained from DOA regarding a consumer’s ability to request a ‘back-up” ALJ to preside at a hearing.
Discuss if there are any concerns with the MOU between DOA and DVR which may create any barriers to “joint identification”.
Continue discussion on how the council could meet their obligation to have all hearings before impartial hearing officers that have been jointly identified by the rehabilitation council.
Discuss DVR’s progress in determining whether the National Disability Rights Network would be willing to share their Vocational Rehabilitation Orientation training materials with DVR.
