The purpose of this meeting is to conduct the governmental business outlined in the above agenda. The Wisconsin Council on Birth Defect Prevention and Surveillance was created under Wisconsin Statute 253.12 for the purposes written there and has the following mission: to advise the Department of Health Services regarding the Wisconsin Birth Defects Prevention and Surveillance program as outlined in Wisconsin Statute 253.12.
