The purpose of this meeting is to conduct the governmental business outlined in the above agenda. The Training and Education Committee serves under the Recovery Implementation Task Force.  The Committee’s primary objective is to identify gaps and needs for training and education for consumers and providers in the public mental health and substance use system, partner with the Bureau of Prevention Treatment and Recovery to provide needed training and education, support the provision of peer services and identify avenues for training and education for employment of peers, including peer specialists, parent peer specialists, and recovery coaches.
