7. Motion to enter into closed session pursuant to Wisconsin Statutes sections 19.85(1)(c), 19.85 (1)(f), and 146.38 to review and evaluate the services of health care providers, including a medical staff matter, and the confidential medical data of specific persons. (Justin Kuehl, CORD Chair)
The purpose of this meeting is to conduct the governmental business outlined in the above agenda.
The Committee on Resident Deaths (CORD) was established by directive of the Division of Care and Treatment Services (DCTS) in 1985. CORD is an advisory body that reviews all deaths of individuals who are patients or residents at DCTS facilities. Based upon that review, CORD informs the DCTS administrator and facility directors of any issues or concerns
regarding a patient or resident’s death,and further makes recommendations with regard to improving the quality of care at the facility.
