The purpose of this meeting is to conduct the governmental business outlined in the above agenda. The department intends to promulgate rules to effectuate the intent of Act 122 by creating a new administrative rule chapter which establishes a new class of overdose treatment and peer recovery service providers. The department also intends to promulgate administrative rules necessary to establish reimbursement for peer recovery coach services under the Medical Assistance program. This committee is meeting to advise DHS on this rulemaking project.
