NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Department of Health Services (“the Department”) will hold a public hearing on SS 051-24, which indicates the Department’s intent to engage in rulemaking to DHS 163, 181, and 182, relating to defining “lead poisoning or lead exposure” in accordance with s. 254.156, Stats. The Department will hold a public a preliminary public hearing under s. 227.136, Stats., and receive public comments regarding the proposed rulemaking at the time and place shown below. This hearing was originally scheduled for July 11, 2024, but had to be rescheduled due to technical difficulties.
