Roll Call 3. Reading and approval of September 23, 2019 meeting minutes 4. Adjourn to Closed Session a. Letter of Introduction b. New Indentures c. Transfers/Re-Assignments/Completions d. Apprentice Reviews e. One Year Reviews 5. Resume Open Session 6. Old Business a. Lisa Perkofski, Apprenticeship Relations Specialist: hired August 2019 to aid in expansion and update of Apprenticeship Program. b. Apprentice Reviews: discussion on how to improve process, such as how to get the review to the correct person at the employer and what to do with the information that is on the review once it's returned. Ideas to be brought to next meeting. c. Bureau Report: Milton reported the Department of Labor (DOL) has given Wisconsin Bureau of Apprenticeship Standards (BAS) one year to implement revised Affirmative Action, 29.30. Milton indicated that revisions mainly consist of updated language and definitions and will mostly impact outreach efforts. More information will come from BAS after their September 25-27, 2019 staff meeting. d. National Apprenticeship Week 2019: Rob indicated that all the Training Campuses will have an open house sometime during the week of November 11, 2019 for National Apprenticeship Week 2019. Rob asked for any additional ideas to spotlight NCSRCC during this State and Federally recognized National Apprenticeship Week. 7. New Business a. First Aid/CPR/ AED required in first 12 months b.
