DWD Council Convergence: Overview and Training (Virtual)
With nearly a dozen councils leading state policy and progress on issues ranging from workforce investment to apprenticeship and unemployment insurance, DWD is hosting a Council Convergence seminar to highlight success stories, discuss council member roles and responsibilities, and offer an interactive training session on open records. The event will feature DWD Secretary Amy Pechacek, Deputy Secretary Pam McGillivray, Chief Legal Counsel Jennifer Wakerhauser, and leaders from several councils.
