The Statutory Council on Blindness is a nine-member statutory body, which is appointed by the Secretary of the Department of Health Services. The purpose of the Council is to make recommendations to DHS and other state agencies on services, activities, programs, investigations, and research that affect Wisconsin residents who are blind and visually impaired.
