Public construction meeting scheduled for US 10 (Waldo Blvd.) work in city of Manitowoc Roadway reconstruction continues in March (Manitowoc) The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) Northeast Region announces a public construction update meeting to discuss 2020 construction on US 10 (Waldo Blvd.) in the city of Manitowoc. The meeting will be held from 5 to 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, February 19 at Manitowoc City Hall in the Council Chambers, 900 Quay St., Manitowoc, WI. A short project introduction will be made at 5:15 p.m. 2020 construction will take place between County R to 14th Street. Work includes roadway reconstruction and resurfacing, bridge deck replacement, box culvert construction, and replacement of watermain, sanitary sewer and storm sewer. Work on sidewalks will also take place. Construction is scheduled to begin in March and finish by November 2020. Road closures and detours will take place as part of this project. The project contractor and WisDOT staff will review project details, discuss construction staging and traffic impacts, and provide access information for properties in the project work zone. Members of the public are encouraged to attend the meeting to discuss construction and ask questions.
