Public meeting for WIS 59 project in Waukesha County to be rescheduled The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) is rescheduling a public involvement meeting to a later date to discuss the design for the resurfacing of WIS 59 (East Waukesha Bypass), from Sunset Drive to Arcadian Avenue, in the town and city of Waukesha. The meeting was originally scheduled for Wednesday, March 18, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Waukesha Town Hall, W250 S3567 Center Road. This rescheduling is precautionary against the continued spread of COVID-19 based on public health guidance to limit public gatherings for the time being. Meeting Details: Date: Wednesday, March 18, 2020 Time: 5-7pm Place: Waukesha Town Hall W250 S3567 Center Road, Waukesha The public is encouraged to attend this meeting to review project details, ask questions, and provide comments that may assist WisDOT during the project’s design and construction. WisDOT staff will be available to discuss the project on an individual basis. Those who are unable to attend this meeting and would like project information may contact WisDOT Project Manager Brian Pluemer at (262) 548-6721 or Brian.Pluemer@dot.wi.gov. The meeting facility is wheelchair accessible. If you require an interpreter or translator, you may request one by contacting Brian Pluemer via the Wisconsin Telecommunications Relay system (dialing 711).
