Open Meeting Notice Governor’s Early Childhood Advisory Council Meeting Holiday Inn at the American Center 5109 West Terrace Drive Madison September 4, 2019 9:00-12:00 Agenda (9:00-9:30) Welcome and Remarks from the Governor Evers Governor and First Lady Evers will attend the meeting. Governor Evers will share his priorities around early childhood with the council. (9:30-10:00) Preschool Development Grant Gallery Walk Grant requirements and proposed project ideas will be posted around the room. Council members will be able to walk around to projects and add comments, feedbacks and other ideas. (10:00-10:15) Break (10:15-10:20) Approval of Minutes Council will review and approval meeting minutes from the June 5, 2019 council meeting. (10:20-11:00) Old Business The Strategic Planning day that was held on August 16, 2019 will be reviewed. There will be a facilitated discussion around a potential endorsement process for the council to use in regard to early childhood projects and activities. (11:00-11:55) New Business: Workgroup Planning Time Workgroups will share out what happened at the August Strategic Planning day, go over the critical milestones template, determine how the group will communicate with the Steering Committee, and set-up future workgroup meetings.
